About Fields Jewelers
Field’s Jewelers started as a small family-owned jewelry store in 1953 with Carl and Marie Field. Now, it is Redding’s oldest and most trusted jewelry store. We are proud to say Field’s Jewelers is still 100-percent family owned and operated after three generations. As a full-service jewelry store, Field’s offers the finest colored stones and precious metals in the North State. We offer an exclusive collection of bridal and engagement rings, loose diamonds, fashion rings, watches and other fine jewelry. All in a warm, relaxed setting that makes shopping for jewelry the enjoyable experience it’s meant to be.
You could say jewelry is in our genes. Our great-grandfather started as a watch maker in the 1950’s and the tradition of experience based knowledge began. Fine jewelry, colored stones, diamond grading, appraisals, jewelry and watch repairs have been the focus of each generation. We are proud to be third generation of jewelers. Even as kids, our idea of fun was hanging around the store. We literally grew up at our family’s jewelry store in Downtown Redding with our parents, Ron and Linda Field. We began learning the business and we went from sweeping the sidewalk and cleaning glass showcases to becoming gemologist and researching the most precious stones around the world.
Ron’s vision of improvement has continued with our own loyalty to continue serving the Redding area with fine jewelry and experienced jewelers. Now being a third generation of jewelers, Dan, who attended Sonoma State University, is a certified gemologist with special studies in diamond grading, colored stones, pearls, and precious metals. His 30-years of experience is a rare commodity and a specialty that our customers can trust.
Today, being in the stores is still about the most fun we can imagine. You will find us at the store every day, because we love what we do. Our goal is to make our customers happy and know their investment is truly worth investing in. We are about knowledge-based customer service, trust, and quality work. Our customers are our friends and we appreciate the opportunity of continuing our family tradition of serving the Redding area.
